I started as a drummer, at 12 I got my first kit. Quickly after, I became obsessed with learning all the instruments essential to start a solo band. Naturally this led to me recording myself. After 6 years of being in studios with my previous bands, and mentoring from engineer friends & colleagues, I built the "Darkwood Hybrid Analog Recording Studio" going headfirst into full time professional engineering. 

    Straight out of high school in 2019, I began work on rappers, pop artists, and bands within New England. My skillset has always centered around "old school" analog recording. Implementing things like my 500 series rack, outboard gear, and tape machine, gave me a leg up of originality on the other engineers in my area. And having expanded to recording artists up and down the east coast, it felt right to rebrand. 

    I joined touring CT/NY brutal death metal band "Roots Of Deception" in 2022, and death metal outfit "Groaning Retch" in 2024. Carving out our own space on the east coast front. This made associating with something a little more my speed, make a lot more sense.

    The Infernal Crypt is a space that centers around comfortability & professionalism. Conjuring sounds and emotion from the murky depths while maintaining the modern clarity and cleanliness the modern listener expects. At its core, the "take" is the most fundamental part of the mix. Fixing bad takes in post will never combat the character of raw, truly powerful take. Having worked with decorated artists Dripping, Scasm, Khari!, okaynitro & Skin Crawl, I am honored to witness such skill while tracking. Names like Devin Swank (Sanguisugabogg), Don Campan (Waking The Cadaver) & Diego Sanchez (Disgorge U.S, Cephalotripsy), to name a few, have blasted through these speakers. Truly a privilege to say so.
